Now there came a wind

Now there came a wind
That drove me in there.
Now there came a wind
The way I wanted it.
It drove me in there
Inside my girl’s skirt.
And it made me happy
When it drove me in there.

English translation by Paul Archer of the text of Agora viniesse un viento by Luis de Milán (c1500-1561) from Libro de Música de Vihuela de mano, Valencia, 1536.

Agora viniesse un viento

Agora viniesse un viento.
Que me echasse aculla dentro.
Agora viniesse un viento
tan bueno como querria.
Que me echasse aculla dentro
en faldas de mi amiga.
Y me hiziesse tan contento.
Que me echasse aculla dentro.

Recording. Catherine King (voice) and Jacob Heringman (viheula). There are not many recordings of this song, so a more red-blooded version which recognised its ribald nature would be welcome.
