Sensation searching man

Walking from bar to bar,
Living from drink to drink,
Don’t know what to believe
Don’t have any time to think.

(Chorus)
I’m a sensation searching man,
I’m just a sedation searching man.

Moving from girl to girl,
Wanting to taste the new,
Loving when being loved
And then just passing through.
Ccrtain it’s my freedom,
Choosing the path to take
The one that’s circling round
When I’m living for my own sake – and that’s my mistake...

(Chorus)
I’m a sensation searching man,
I’m just a sedation searching man.

My pocket’s always empty
But my head is full of dreams,
I’ve got the wealth of youth
To take me to extremes.
Happiness just happens,
There’s nothing we really own,
At the end of one short life
We’re all gonna die alone – and I’ll be unknown...

(Chorus)
I’m a sensation searching man,
I’m just a sedation searching man.

Sometimes I ask what I’m doing,
As if I was asking for a light,
I’m a mass of contradictions
Not knowing what is right.
Though the grass is greener
On the far side of the fence,
I’ve been sentenced to live
Here in the present tense – but that’s all a pretence...

(Chorus)
I’m a sensation searching man,
I’m just a sedation searching man.
